Winter Mountaineering Prep For Island Peak @ 6,189 Meters

Ran a prep course last weekend for two awesome guys heading for Island Peak @ 6,189 meters.

We did a mix of ropework + knots, rock climbing, abseiling, jumaring, initial crampon + ice axe skills, moving together; plus a terrific grade one winter gully on the second day.
